my notion is that christianity isn’t bad in principle since it’s based on loving everyone…but it requires a perfect world where nobody has basic desires

i mean, i know that’s the principle but it’s like
how many Christians really get down with that, they’re too busy trying to separate themselves from the heathens so they can get their slice of the pie
It’s like that Gandhi quote about liking Christ just fine, but Christians being so unlike their Christ. That’s basically where i stand on that.
