Probably shouldn’t jump in buut.. God didn’t give the Angels the right of free will. and, my personal belief, is that Lucifer isn’t evil, he just got the worlds greatest short stick. He was God’s Right hand Angel, if anyone knew the plan, he did. And the plan required an opposing force.
Thus the war and the fall.
What a dick.
The whole crux of the matter is, the whole thing is just as orchestrated as, say, Norse belief. We know the worlds are going to end, we know everyone’s going to die, we know the whole thing’s going to start over again. Christians know the same thing. Except their god is a bit of a control freak, and instead of dying out with everyone else, he wants to stick around.
He wants to fucking win the whole thing. He wants to come out sole victor, and he wants to recreate the world himself, just like he claims he created it the first time around.
Which is one of the biggest reasons i have for not giving a damn about him. i don’t like deities that try to convince their followers that they have so much power and glory that they are infallible and completely immortal.
It just bugs me. If you’re so damned infallible, then you don’t need us to do shit except hang limp and be flailed around like puppets on a stage. Well, fuck you too.
